Many people always inquire about what it takes to get into burlesque and event production – just ask!

and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Remember, there are no ‘dumb’ questions!
In the mean time, here are some great resources I’ve learned to love during my time on and off stage –
• I have always needed to watch what I eat – and I love sharing food and meals with friends and family. I am a life-time Weight Watchers member and can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking to lose a few pounds or completely rethink how they view food and nutrition. I am not paid by Weight Watchers, so this is an honest endorsement of their plans, exercise resources, online tools and meeting support. www.weightwatchers.com
• To keep plunging necklines in place, especially when barely there!, consider using ‘fashion tape’ found in lingerie departments at discount and department stores. This is also a great tool for wearing pasties and tassels.
• I have fair skin and cannot be in the sun because of a family history with Melanoma. Wear your sun block and when you want a quick ‘glow’ try Sally Hansen’s “Airbrush Legs.” To get that great burlesque glittery look, consider using glitter hairspray as a body spray, too!
• Ladies often ask how to get those fabulous ruby red glittery lips – simple, extra fine glitter over a creamy lipstick! Voila!
• Be a cheap skate! Shop in your own closet, thrift stores or even hand-me-downs for items you can repurpose for stage and glam out with gems, rhinestones and sequins. There’s nothing like looking like a million bucks when you paid next to nothin’!
* Above all – be professional! No matter what your performance genre or role on the stage, professionalism is a showstopper and a guaranteed invitation for an encore!
